Mag Shield : Presentation

Mag Shield technology is used to assemble temporary or permanent biological protection modules by magnetism. These modules are very flexible and can be positioned using a suction cup handling tool to keep the operator at a safe distance from hot spots (as low rs reasonably achievable principle – ALARA).

Mag Shield : Applications

The Mag Shield range of modular magnetic radiation protection bricks has been specifically designed for building shielding systems like those around steam generators in pressurised water reactor nuclear power plants (PWR).

  • Standard module dimensions: 200 x 200 mm (these modules come in standard dimensions but are also customisable depending on your applications).
