DESCRIPTION

The Securix lead doors assemblies developed by Lemer Pax are specially designed to meet the stringent requirements of nuclear medicine. Available in hinged, sliding or motorised versions, they offer a comprehensive solution combining radiation protection and security.

Each door unit is fitted with door leaves incorporating two sheets of lead, each with a minimum thickness of 0.5 mm, ensuring effective protection against radiation. The door frames, made from redwood with a standard cross-section of 58 × 70 mm, are also lead-lined and fitted with joint covers to ensure the continuity of the shielding. The robust design includes reinforced hinges, a flush-mounted door with a wood fibreboard finish, and a mortise designed to accommodate a lock and fittings according to the customer’s requirements.

Available in a standard paint-finish version or fully customised, Securix lead doors can incorporate lead thicknesses ranging from 0.5 to 4 mm, with other thicknesses available on request. They thus provide a reliable, flexible solution that complies with regulatory requirements to ensure user safety and the control of ionising radiation in healthcare facilities.
