DESCRIPTION

Initiated and piloted by Lemer Pax, in collaboration with Intuitive Robots and Systel Electronique, ARAMIS is a mobile system for detecting and characterizing gamma radioactivity.

This remotely-operated system makes an effective contribution to reducing the dosimetry of personnel working on nuclear sites. It provides gamma mapping of nuclear environments remotely and in real time, whether for site inspection prior to maintenance operations or on-site investigation in post-incident situations.

Its design is such as to minimize contamination (single-use anti-contamination socks supplied). Maintenance is planned in a hot base (CEDOS type).

ARAMIS, the vector: SPOT quadruped robot

Developed by Boston Dynamics and distributed by Intuitive Robots, is the SPOT quadruped robot. It is available in 2 navigation modes: autonomous or remotely piloted, thanks to 360°, real-time 3D visual coverage. Its quadruped design gives it excellent obstacle crossing and avoidance capabilities.

The sensor: a gamma camera

Developed by H3D and distributed by SYSTEL électronique, comprises a camera, a gamma detector and an integrated spectrometer, enabling detection, characterization and localization of any gamma source over 360°.
