Rubijet® aims to automate the elution of a strontium-82 / rubidium-82 generator, and ensures the injected activity of rubidium-82 to the patient.

Rubijet® – automation serving precision cardiac diagnosis

Recognized as a state-of-the-art technique for the assessment of ischemic heart disease, rubidium-82 imaging delivers superior quality thanks to the intrinsic performance of PET-Scan. It provides high diagnostic accuracy, particularly through the measurement of flow and coronary reserve, enabling the detection of microvascular impairments in patients presenting with typical angina but normal coronary angiography, as well as the evaluation of multi-vessel coronary artery disease and diffuse ischemia. The absolute quantification of myocardial blood flow and coronary reserve, both reliable and reproducible, contributes to better prognostic stratification. In addition, systematic attenuation correction significantly reduces false negatives and artifacts, while the very short half-life of rubidium-82 (75 seconds) ensures lower patient irradiation.

Thanks to its embedded ionisation chamber (patented), the daily routine generator breakthrough quality control is automatized and very easily performed. Rubijet® can evaluate the activity directly eluted from the generator, to ensure the accurancy of the injection.

Its system can measure the strontium-82 and strontium-85 rate, to evaluate the generator integrity and to very precisely prevent the medical staff and patient contamination.
