Lead glass vial shield dispensing station
Principle
The Lemer Pax wall stand is designed to receive the 3 lead glass vial shields (PFE
PME PHE) in order to eliminate to hold the vial with the hands. The lower
tray can receive small material such as syringe shields.
The lead glass vial fixing device rotates around an indexed axis that keeps the lead glass
vial upside down in order to extract the radioactive solution. It can be fixed to the
wall, inside a glove box or simply put on the top of a bench. |

Tungsten syringe shield
Principle
Because of its high capability to inhibit gamma rays, tungsten can provide
efficient protection with less thickness than any other material.
The easy to handle 3 mm thick tungsten syringe holder is tapered at the needle end to
provide maximum venipuncture accuracy. The lead glass viewing panel is 5,2 density and the
inside of the holder is coated white to provide easy reading of the seringe contents. |

New design tungstene
syringe shields
Principle
The Lemer ISO-SAFE syringe holder has been specificially designed to
provide comfort, easy for use, and optimum protection for the user. Its unique shape
offers an easy to hold feel and maximum protection in the areas most exposed to radiation.
The beveled needle end allows closer placement of the needle to the arm in order to obtain
more accurate venipuncture. This also reduces the risk of leakage on the patient and
operator. |

High energy isotopes
syringe shields
Principle
Those new syringe schields protect the users from the high energy gamma emitting
nuclides such as iodine 131 (360 Kev), fluorine 18, oxygen 15, carbon 11 (511 Kev). Those
virtually unbreackable tunsten shield (6 mm minimum thickness) are inside lined with a
PTFE plastic tube (1 mm thick) that totaly stops the betas rays and awoids errant
Bermsstrahlung. |

Shielded
bench with sliding screen
Principle
Designed for handling radioactive materials that do not need the added protection of a
vented shielded glove box, the shielded bench provides an easy decontaminable, shielded
work area. The biological protection is given by 15 mm of lead on the work area and by
30 mm of lead with a height of 175 mm on the front. Equipped with a shielded sliding screen
with a 56 mm thick lead glass window, it provides a perfect work ergonomics while protects
the operators from ionising rays. |

Gas venting system
Principle
The gas and aerosol venting system provides ventilation by aspiration while a
patient is inhaling and exhaling radioactive elements.
The 3 articulated tubular arms permit fixing the venting system in any position in an area
up to 2 meters. The active gas is then aspirated through the tubular arms at a rate of 210
m3/h.
There is an interruptor command for the aspirator. |
