EANM 2011. On British ground!
After last year's edition in Vienna (Austria), Birmingham hosted the 24th EANM congress from 16th to 18th October 2011. Lemer Pax exhibited in partnership with Keosys, under the banner of the institutional structure Atlanpole Biotherapies (cf nota), approved by the French government.
The EANM has undeniably become an unmissable event for nuclear medicine specialists who can speak freely between them. Touria El Ouakili, International sales manager: "...Regarding the growing importance of the EANM, this is an opportunity for Lemer Pax to meet world experts in our specialty ..." An opportunity as well for Lemer Pax to promote its innovations.
For its 2011 vintage, the EANM was attended by around 6000 participants, scientists and visitors coming from Europe, and the rest of the world as well. Stopping by Lemer Pax's stand, people from Finland, Portugal, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Turkey, Russia, Israel, Tunisia, Brazil, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Jordan... and of course from the United Kingdom.
Competitive new products
Lemer Pax exhibited its new hot cells range for the manipulation and the preparation of radioisotopes. This range offers 6 new machines, classified in 2 categories, high and low energy, and then in compact or standard format.
Aside from this range, the Easydose + offers a complete system of preparation and injection of FDG, when coupled with monodose injector Jetti.
This congress was also the occasion to introduce an alternative to the Easydose+/Jetti couple, with the last version of the automatic multidoses injector Posijet. Pierre-Marie Lemer, Lemer Pax CEO: "... our injector, beyond its intrinsic qualities, is the only one on the market to offer a near-total radiation protection to the operator (>98%). Thus protected, the operator can stay near the patient during the procedure to reassure him/her..."
These are qualities that the jury of the Grand Prix Siemens de l'Innovation 2011 has obviously acknowledged by awarding Lemer Pax the Jury's Special Prize for the Posijet, which focuses in priority on human well-being.
Great Britain is now behind us. The EANM 2012 will be held in Milan from 27th to 31st October for a symbolical year: its 25-year anniversary!
